Gigabit network applications are getting more prevalent in the industrial automation
world. In fact, it has become widespread to transmit video, voice,
and high-rate industrial application data over one network due
to increased bandwidth and reliability of open standard Ethernet
technology. If video, voice, and data are simultaneously transmitted
in large amounts over the same network, network traffic may face
a serious slowdown. This rapidly increased demand for high-bandwidth
communications, such as on-line video and IP phone, is driving
many industries to upgrade their existing network backbones to
gigabit speeds.
MOXA now offers a series of gigabit managed Ethernet
